Chris Taylor proves to be a difference-maker for Angels in win over Mariners
Briefly

Chris Taylor, recently signed by the Angels, showcased his potential by delivering a strong performance against the Mariners. He went two for three, including a crucial tying RBI double, contributing to a 5-4 victory. Taylor's performance marked his first multi-hit game of the season and ended a frustrating period since his signing. Despite Kyle Hendricks giving away four runs, the Angels' lineup performed well with seven hits, moving them closer to competing in the AL West. Strong relief pitching also played a significant role in sealing the win.
Chris Taylor hadn't done much at the plate since the Angels signed him nearly two weeks ago.
Even Taylor's one out was loud. In the bottom of the sixth, Seattle center fielder Julio Rodríguez robbed Taylor of a two-run home run to dead center field.
The Angels put together one of their better performances at the plate. They combined for seven hits and struck out just seven times.
Ryan Zeferjahn and Reid Detmers pitched a scoreless seventh and eighth, respectively, and closer Kenley Jansen tossed a scoreless ninth for his 13th save.
