Dodgers Roster: Yoendrys Gomez Activated, Noah Davis Optioned
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers added Yoendrys Gómez to the roster and optioned Noah Davis to Triple-A Oklahoma City ahead of their game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Davis, who joined the Dodgers in a trade from the Boston Red Sox, had a tough week, posting a 10.13 ERA in three appearances. Conversely, Gómez, a former Yankees prospect, is seeing his first opportunity with a new team after being claimed from New York. He comes with experience from his time in Major League Baseball, making his debut in 2023 and contributing to the Yankees bullpen.
Davis returns to the Minors after spending one week with the club. He joined the Dodgers organization on domestic Opening Day in a trade with the Boston Red Sox.
Gómez developed into a top-30 prospect in the Yankees farm system and was added onto their 40-man roster in November 2020 to be protected from possibly getting selected in the annual Rule 5 Draft.
