"Gave up a bad pitch to a hitter that can hit fastballs. It cost us again,"
"I'm tired of it happening. It's terrible. I'm having the worst year of my life. I gotta be better."
"I don't know if I'm tipping or what, but they're on everything. It sucks,"
"It was a fastball above the zone. Maybe I'm tipping. I have no friggin' clue right now."
Tanner Scott has endured an atrocious season marked by critical late-game failures. His last five outings included a blown save, a loss, another blown save, breaking a combined no-hitter while earning a save, and a walk-off grand slam by the Giants in extra innings. Scott now has nine blown saves, tied for the most in MLB this year. He has entered high-leverage situations with runners on and has struggled with pitch location, particularly a fastball above the zone, and suspects he might be tipping pitches.
