German singer Bill Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel purchased the home in 2019 after initially renting it, drawn to its elegant driveway and low-slung profile. A burst pipe prompted major renovations coordinated by architect Rob Michel, designer Davide Rizzo, and garden designer AJ Canfield. The team of approximately 100 specialists carefully studied Wright's original architectural plans and archival documents to execute a sensitive restoration that preserved the home's design integrity while updating interiors and adding a landscaped courtyard.
