Brian Sims served as Pennsylvania state representative for the 182nd district from 2013 to 2022 and was the state's first openly gay elected legislator. He left the legislature after an unsuccessful 2022 bid for Lieutenant Governor. He then served as managing director of Government Affairs and Public Policy at Out Leadership and joined the Board of Trustees of the Tyler Clementi Foundation. Since 2024 he has been CEO of Agenda PAC, a political action committee focused on defeating anti-LGBTQ+ politicians and supporting pro-queer rights. Sims moved to New York, married partner Alex Drakos in January 2025, and modeled for Nasty Pig.
