"The newspaper cited court documents in which the man acknowledged he was dating the alleged stalking victim his colleague at the firm McDonald Carano after breaking off a relationship with Robb in 2021. The Washoe District Court announced on Monday, Jan. 26, that it was reviewing cases involving Robb and McDonald Carano for any indication of conflict of interest, the Gazette-Journal said."
"The request for the order of protection alleged the stalking started in May 2024 and that the judge had been seen outside the female lawyer's home, workplace and gym. Court documents obtained by Reno TV station KRNV said police investigating the claims in late 2025 logged multiple occasions on which Robb was seen in her car outside the gym where the lawyer was working out."
Bridget Robb, a 63-year-old family court judge in Reno, is accused of stalking a female lawyer, with hundreds of contacts over more than a year. A temporary order of protection was granted Jan. 16. Robb announced retirement the following week and had planned to run for a district court judgeship. Court documents say a male lawyer resigned after acknowledging he dated the alleged victim after breaking up with Robb in 2021. Washoe District Court is reviewing Robb's cases and those involving McDonald Carano for conflicts. Police interviewed Robb on Jan. 7; she reportedly admitted stalking and called it a coping mechanism. No criminal charges have been filed; a Feb. 13 hearing is scheduled.
