Train services on the West Coast Main Line were severely disrupted during peak hours, with services from London Euston to Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow suspended and major disruption between Euston and Watford. Avanti West Coast and London Northwestern were most affected, and several Overground lines experienced delays. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
