A 40-year-old man collapsed at a flat in Tollgate House, Maida Vale, around 9.30pm on Friday after sustaining stab wounds. Emergency services, including the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service, attended the address on Tollgate Gardens, Oxford Road, Kilburn; paramedics treated one male at the scene who was later taken to hospital and died despite treatment. Leon Douglas, 45, of Watford Way, Hendon, was arrested and charged with murder on Christmas Eve and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Saturday. Specialist officers are supporting the victim's next of kin while investigators work to establish the full circumstances and ask anyone with information to contact police or Crimestoppers.
