Fire destroys half of car repair workshop in Romford

On June 13, a significant fire broke out at a car repair workshop located on Faringdon Avenue in Romford, consuming half of the facility. The London Fire Brigade alerted multiple fire stations with about 70 firefighters responding to the incident. The first call was received at 5:58 PM, leading to a coordinated firefighting effort involving fire engines from both local and Essex County services. After roughly an hour and a half, the blaze was controlled by 7:51 PM. Investigations into the cause of the fire are currently underway, and as of this report, there are no known injuries.
