London Underground's latest tube map cover offers a Cubist view of the Capital
Briefly

A new pocket tube map cover designed by Agnes Denes will debut in July. This 41st design, titled 'Map Projections', utilizes isometric projection to depict a cubed representation of Earth, challenging conventional notions of space and time. It draws inspiration from Denes's earlier works and aims to reshape how individuals perceive their connection to the city. Free copies will be available at TfL stations, alongside a promotional poster throughout the network. Art on the Underground will also introduce additional artworks later this year, expanding the cultural offerings of the London transport system.
Denes uses Map Projections to reimagine the earth and the place of humans on it. Her projection reimagines our place in the city...
Map Projections presents an alternate perception of space and time by projecting a section of the globe onto a cube rather than a sphere.
