Railway bike rules change for charity cycle race
Briefly

On June 15, railway operators Southern and Thameslink will impose restrictions on passengers bringing non-folding bicycles onto trains due to the British Heart Foundation's annual London to Brighton Bike Ride. This significant charity event expects nearly 14,000 cyclists to participate, prompting safety measures to avoid overcrowding on trains, especially between Brighton and Shoreham-by-Sea, Haywards Heath, and Lewes. Cyclists traveling to Clapham Junction will also face restrictions until 10:00 BST. The charity will provide transport services for participants before and after the event.
