Musician Serena Kaos stopped working full-time after losing regular busking locations and called the loss a huge cultural setback, especially for working-class musicians. A court ruling found amplified busking in Leicester Square amounted to a public nuisance and Westminster suspended public busking there, intensifying performers' hardship and reducing London’s live street music presence.
