Max and Igor Cavalera have announced a Fall 2025 US tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Sepultura's album Chaos A.D., performing it entirely. The tour will begin at the Louder Than Life festival and feature a major concert supporting Slayer. Tickets are available via a pre-sale and general sales starting in June 2023. Max Cavalera expressed fondness for the landmark album, noting it broke new ground in metal, introducing a slower, more groove-focused sound while maintaining aggression.
It's a very special record. It's almost like a defining moment in metal, one of those records that kind of broke the mold, how metal can be.
With Chaos A.D. we showed there's another way to make aggressive music, that's a little bit slower and more groove oriented, with stuff like 'Territory' and 'Slave New World'.
