Comedian Milton Jones announced on Instagram that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, prompting him to cancel certain dates of his Ha!Milton Tour scheduled for this summer. He reassured fans that the cancer is treatable and shared that he would undergo surgery and need time for recovery. While some summer shows have been canceled, others will be rescheduled for the autumn. Fans and fellow celebrities have extended their well wishes, emphasizing the importance of health over work during this challenging time for the comedian.
Thanks for your support and respecting my privacy during this time. This decision has not been taken lightly, trust me. Abnormal service will resume as soon as possible and I'm looking forward to being back out on the road again soon, though probably not on a bike.
I'm so sorry about this, but I need to announce the cancellation of several dates from my ongoing Ha!Milton live tour. The affected shows are in Leeds, Coventry, Basingstoke, and more, which were all due to take place this summer.
In addition, the Summer dates in Colchester, Bridlington, Stroud, and London will be rescheduled to the Autumn. All dates currently scheduled for the Autumn leg of the tour remain unaffected.
Since announcing the news to his fans, thousands have sent the comedy favourite their well wishes, commenting underneath his Instagram post, showing great support.
