One of London's Best Clubs Is Being Reborn
"At the end of last year, XOYO (along with other London venue The Camden Assembly) was acquired by the newly formed Propaganda Independent Venues group, run by Propaganda founder Dan Ickowitz-Seidler and TEG founder Richard Buck. By acquiring the Shoreditch club, the group wanted to help it "thrive under independent ownership and become a cultural hub for the area, offering opportunities and support to local artists and businesses"."
"Kirk Allen, who operates the Warehouse and the Green Room in Leeds and Rise Festival in the Alps, is the new owner. He's completely overhauling XOYO in an effort to bring it "back to the underground", including adding new light installations, a new sound system, a new stage configuration, new booths and new decor. The programming is also shaping up nicely; the opening party on 31st January features Fleur Shore, Kidoo, St David, Btay and Tom Haigh,"
XOYO in Shoreditch will reopen on 31 January 2026 after acquisition by Propaganda Independent Venues and new owner Kirk Allen. The venue experienced decline post-pandemic but now faces a substantial physical and programming overhaul aimed at returning it to underground credibility. Planned upgrades include new light installations, a new sound system, a revised stage configuration, new booths and refreshed decor. Opening programming features Fleur Shore, Kidoo, St David, Btay and Tom Haigh, with weekly parties from Paradox, Your Mum's House and Feel It, plus live shows from Pearly Drops, Pogány Induló, Schur and Lewis Ofman.
