The Wallflowers Confirm Bringing Down the Horse 30th Anniversary Tour
"Coming back after such a long time, we wanted to do something special for the 30th anniversary of Bringing Down the Horse. We decided to play what seems to be our fans' favorite Wallflowers album, and for us, we wanted to play one of our favorite Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers records, Long After Dark."
"Bringing Down the Horse, which reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200, spawned The Wallflowers' signature hit "One Headlight," which won Grammys for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group."
The Wallflowers will embark on a 2026 tour across North America and the UK/Europe to commemorate three decades since their breakthrough album Bringing Down the Horse. The tour features performances of the complete album alongside a full rendition of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' Long After Dark as a tribute. The North American leg begins April 17th in Portland, Oregon and concludes September 6th in Milwaukee, with stops in major cities including Vancouver, Dallas, Nashville, Chicago, and Toronto. The band will then travel to Europe for additional dates. Jakob Dylan explained the decision to perform both albums, noting they wanted to celebrate their fans' favorite Wallflowers record while honoring one of their own favorite Tom Petty records. Bringing Down the Horse reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and produced the Grammy-winning hit "One Headlight."
