Nephew of John Gilligan appeals judge's dismissal of hit-and-run damages claim to High Court

"David Gilligan, a nephew of crime boss John Gilligan, has appealed to the High Court the dismissal by a Circuit Court judge of a hit-and-run damages claim. Gilligan, (33) of Greenfort Crescent, Clondalkin, who described himself as an unemployed roofer and denied he was a 'serial entrepreneur' with businesses in Ireland and Spain, had also denied having known he had been deliberately targeted in a rear-ending collision by several individuals."
