Avelo Airlines ends Sonoma County to Southern California flights
Briefly

Avelo Airlines has stopped its flights between Ontario International Airport and Sonoma County just six months after initiating the route, citing lower-than-expected demand and financial challenges as primary reasons. The last flight occurred on March 31. While Avelo no longer services Sonoma County directly from Ontario, it continues flights to Santa Rosa from other locations, including Burbank and Las Vegas. Despite previously announcing expansions including a new route from Sonoma County to Salt Lake City, the airline has now shifted operations, emphasizing adaptability to market demands and other ongoing contracts, including deportation flights for DHS.
