USC lands third 5-star for 2026 in forward Sara Okeke

Sara Okeke, a 6-foot-4 Spanish forward, committed to USC on Tuesday, becoming the third five-star recruit to join the Trojans for the 2026 season. This commitment elevated USC to No. 1 in ESPN's 2026 class rankings. Okeke chose USC over Kentucky, Indiana, and Texas, citing the campus atmosphere and coaching staff as key factors. Playing her final high school season at DME Academy, she averaged 17 points and 7 rebounds while shooting nearly 70% from the field. She was named MVP of the 2025 FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket, averaging 13.8 points on 57% shooting and 7.1 rebounds. Her combination of length, agility, and instinct resembles former WNBA MVP Nneka Ogwumike. Okeke joins Saniyah Hall and Sitaya Fagan in USC's elite recruiting class.
