Nathan Eovaldi missed the end of the 2025 season with a rotator cuff strain and underwent sports hernia surgery in October, but reports full recovery and no expected limitations for Spring Training. Eovaldi has resumed multiple bullpen sessions and says his arm and body feel great. He posted a 1.73 ERA over 22 starts in 2025 and has averaged more than 25 starts per season across three years with Texas. Joe Musgrove, returning from Tommy John surgery and prior elbow inflammation, also reports being in good physical and mental condition for 2026.
