Justin Turner extending baseball career in unexpected fashion
"Hey Toros fans, JT here. I just want to let you know that I am fired up to join the team and to bring another championship back down to Cerro Colorado."
"Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious the biggest chunk of my career came in L.A., and it was nine years. And the turning point in my career came when I put the Dodger uniform on."
"The one title I won was with the Dodgers. I don't want to even get down to that yet, but it's probably a slam dunk to happen that way."
Justin Turner, a former Los Angeles Dodgers World Series champion, is now playing for the Tijuana Toros in the Mexican Baseball League. At 41, he previously played for the Chicago Cubs, hitting .219 with three home runs in 2025. Turner began his MLB career with the Baltimore Orioles and had a significant nine-year stint with the Dodgers, earning two All-Star selections and winning the 2020 World Series. He plans to retire with the Dodgers by signing a one-day contract.
