Burnley sign England defender Walker from Man City

Burnley has signed defender Kyle Walker on a two-year contract from Manchester City. Walker, aged 35, completed his medical and will reunite with head coach Scott Parker. He made 15 appearances for Manchester City last season and had a loan stint at AC Milan. Walker achieved 17 trophies with City, including the Treble in 2023, after joining in 2017 and playing 319 matches. Burnley, recently promoted to the Premier League, has made Walker their fifth signing this summer, following other new players.

Walker won 17 trophies during his time at Etihad Stadium and was part of the squad that won the Treble in 2023. He signed for City in the summer of 2017 and made 319 appearances.
Burnley were promoted back to the Premier League last season following their relegation in 2024. Walker is their fifth signing of the summer.
The 35-year-old made 15 appearances in the first half of last season for City before joining AC Milan on loan in January, but the Italian club decided not to make his move permanent.
