"The coach said we need to change our mentality in training," defender Leny Yoro said after United's first training session, speaking to United's website, which reported that manager Ruben Amorim was up before 06:00 local time on Thursday to prepare for an early training session in cooler conditions. "We're here to work. If we need to do two training [sessions] a day, we're going to. We need to continue like this."
"I really trust him because I've watched him play many times and I know he has a great reputation," midfielder Tomas Soucek said of Diouf, praising West Ham's "great sessions" during their preparations so far. "My old team-mates and coaches from Slavia all say really positive things about him.
