Holiday decorations and festive photoshoots took place across the NICUs at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Newton Wellesley Hospital. Staff arranged tiny stockings, twinkling lights, and themed props to create celebratory portraits of infants. The activities aim to mark early milestones and to provide families with moments of normalcy and joy during prolonged hospital stays. Care teams prioritize celebrating every newborn milestone, however small, and consider first holidays especially meaningful to parents. Photographs from the sessions were provided by the hospitals for families and public sharing.
