Minkah Fitzpatrick is pursuing a contract extension with the Miami Dolphins, after hiring NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus. He has $33.1 million remaining on his current deal. Fitzpatrick, a three-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl selection, has been a full participant in training camp and showcased his skills with an impressive interception. His trade rejoined him with the Dolphins after initially being traded to Pittsburgh in 2019. Teammates perceive him as content with the trade and pursuing a new deal.
Fitzpatrick has also hired established NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus as his new agent, as he's believed to be looking for a new contract in Miami.
The 28-year-old three-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowl selection has $33.1 million in base salary remaining on the two years left on his current deal.
At Saturday's session, Fitzpatrick made an incredible interception on a deep pass thrown into traffic by Miami backup quarterback Zach Wilson.
The trade to bring Fitzpatrick in reunited him with the Dolphins after he was traded to Pittsburgh during the rebuilding season of 2019.
