Cassandra Rivera and her two young sons were hospitalized with severe burns after a boat explosion in Fort Lauderdale. During a press conference at Ryder Trauma Center, Rivera recounted the terrifying moments leading up to the explosion, including her young son’s premonition of disaster. Eleven out of the fifteen passengers experienced injuries, and the boat operator tragically passed away later. While Rivera sustained burns to 20% of her body, her 5-year-old son Kash has 40% burns and is recovering, while her 7-year-old son Anthony faces a tougher recovery with 80% burns and required skin graft surgeries.
