Ferg will host Flo Fair, a free all-day wellness event at Marcus Garvey Park on August 14. The event will include a 5K run, yoga classes, sound baths, and performances. Ferg aims to bring the wellness practices he embraced while living in Tulum, such as meditation and yoga, back to his Harlem community. The fair is inspired by local health events his family organized to honor his father, Darold Ferguson, who was active in the community and passed away shortly before Ferg turned 17. The event reflects Ferg's commitment to community engagement and wellness.
Ferg came to prominence in the early 2010s as a member of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob, fusing alternative sensibilities with rap to create a sound uniquely Ferg.
Flow Fair was inspired by local health fairs his family held in Harlem to honor Ferg's late father, Darold Ferguson, who printed labels for companies like Bad Boy Records.
