Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday around 11 p.m. It is unknown at this time if the winner is a New York City resident.
The New York Lottery confirmed that a second place $1,000 A Week For Life ticket was sold at a deli in the Bronx.
The ticket gives the winner $1,000 a week for life, with a guaranteed minimum payout of $1 million.
