One minute later David was born at 00.07am weighing 3.27kg to Natalia and Constantin Simciuc of Tyrrelstown and was photographed with his mother and midwife Elsie Cotterill. The Coombe Hospital recorded its first Christmas baby, Croía, at 00.41am weighing 3.27kg; her mother Jodie McMullan described her as a miracle after a difficult pregnancy. Later, baby Tommy was born at 7.09am weighing 3.7kg to Ruth and Gary Kenna of Kinsealy.
