Ali Abdelaziz confirmed the UFC made an offer to Justin Gaethje but declined to reveal details, saying financial matters should remain private. Abdelaziz believes Gaethje was not satisfied with the offer but insisted everything worked out and that there is no beef between Gaethje and the UFC. Abdelaziz said Gaethje speaks emotionally and seeks top compensation comparable to other elite athletes. Dana White claimed the new Paramount deal guarantees higher fighter pay, a claim Gaethje disputed, stating he was not making more under the deal. After Gaethje won the interim title at UFC 324, Abdelaziz said negotiations can continue.
