Manager Opens Up on Justin Gaethje's Claims Regarding UFC Pay
"I have rules, I don't talk about financial business,"
"Dana was right, an offer was made... Maybe Justin was not okay with the offer. But everything worked out correctly. Now we get to talk... Justin is emotional and he speaks. Justin is not lying. I think nobody in the UFC deserves to make more money than Justin Gaethje... If you think you want money and you want to talk about it, we can talk behind closed doors."
"I think nobody wins when people talk about money publicly... There is no beef between the UFC and Justin Gaethje. Justin Gaethje is like every other athlete in the world, who want to get paid a lot and lot of money."
Ali Abdelaziz confirmed the UFC made an offer to Justin Gaethje but declined to reveal details, saying financial matters should remain private. Abdelaziz believes Gaethje was not satisfied with the offer but insisted everything worked out and that there is no beef between Gaethje and the UFC. Abdelaziz said Gaethje speaks emotionally and seeks top compensation comparable to other elite athletes. Dana White claimed the new Paramount deal guarantees higher fighter pay, a claim Gaethje disputed, stating he was not making more under the deal. After Gaethje won the interim title at UFC 324, Abdelaziz said negotiations can continue.
