"While none of the allegations have been proven in court, it does not look good for Raja Jackson. An incident caught on video saw Syko Stu, real name Stuart Smith, smash Jackson over the head with an open beer can prior to a Knokx Pro Wrestling event, believing that Jackson was a fellow wrestler and that the two were setting up a feud. Smith is later seen apologizing upon realizing his mistake, after which Jackson shakes his hand. Yet given the green light to interfere in Smith's match by the promotion, Jackson delivers roughly two dozen unprotected punches on the wrestler after slamming him into unconsciousness - that after being caught on camera promising to exact revenge for the earlier incident."
"Pop Rampage came out earlier this month to say that his son deserved to spend some time in jail for the assault. He also told Ariel Helwani that he no longer speaks to his son. "I don't talk to Raja no more," Jackson told "The Ariel Helwani Show" earlier this month. "I talked to him, I heard his story and I heard some stuff and then after I learned a whole lot of stuff about it." "He dishonored my name," Jackson added. "I know he's my f*cking son. I'm not cutting him off for forever. I just haven't talked to him.""
Raja Jackson, 25, son of UFC and PRIDE legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, was arrested on September 18, booked on a felony charge and held on $50,000 bond following an LAPD investigation. Video captured Stuart "Syko Stu" Smith striking Jackson with an open beer can before a Knokx Pro Wrestling event, then apologizing when he realized the mistake. After being allowed to interfere, Jackson repeatedly punched Smith, rendering him unconscious. Smith was hospitalized with missing teeth and serious injuries and has since been released to recover at home. Quinton Jackson said his son deserved jail time and that he is not speaking to him.
