Under the UFC ADP, CSAD may, at its sole discretion, suspend portions of an ineligibility period when an athlete provides full and complete cooperation. CSAD found that Lucindo Bezerra provided the required cooperation. CSAD evaluated evidence regarding Bezerra's exposure to mesterolone and concluded that she did not intentionally use or expose herself to significant quantities of the substance. Based on cooperation and the absence of intentional use, CSAD imposed a nine-month period of ineligibility for Bezerra.
