"I explained it to them like I was a superhero. The first slide on my little PowerPoint for the kids said Malcolm 'The Machine' Wellmaker, and I told them my superhero name was 'The Machine,'"
"And I framed it like every guy I fought was a villain, and they kind of got it, but not really."
"I believe in my heart that I'm a good person, I believe in my heart that if I'm just being natural and who I am, people will gravitate towards me,"
"One hundred percent before the end of the year. I'm hoping possibly in November,"
Malcolm Wellmaker visited a local elementary school and presented himself to the students as a superhero, using a PowerPoint slide naming himself Malcolm 'The Machine' Wellmaker. He framed opponents as villains in the superhero narrative, creating a fun, memorable experience for the children. Wellmaker remains undefeated and has earned post-fight bonuses in both of his UFC appearances, drawing fan interest through authenticity. He believes being natural attracts people and plans to stay ready for competition. He does not yet have an opponent or a firm date but expects to fight before the end of the year, possibly in November.
