"So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we'd call "indie," and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here's a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place."
"There are countless things in my life I take a deeeep, slow drag from that really don't benefit me, these habits have a short term satisfaction but the long term effect can be just one big slowburn. The song and video explore anxiety disguised as cameras and their constant surveillance. A snapshot into the mind of someone who overthinks to the point of 'seeing things' that may not even be there."
A weekly roundup highlights recent indie and alternative music releases and related videos. Railcard, a DIY indiepop supergroup featuring Rachel Love, Ian Button, and Peter Momtchiloff, delivers jangly twee guitar pop and compiles two 2025 digital EPs into a forthcoming LP via Slumberland/Skep Wax, with a new video for "Day Dream." Sweet Pill previews the album There's a Glow with the single "Slow Burn," using cigarette imagery to examine habits, anxiety, surveillance, and habitual overthinking. Metronomy member Anna Prior released the single "Silence" as the band prepares its first show after a three-year hiatus. Playlists aggregate these new tracks.
