"The Los Angeles Police Department has discovered a dead body inside an impounded Tesla registered to alt-pop singer d4vd, reports ABC News. Police said they discovered the body in a 2023 Tesla at a Hollywood tow yard around noon on Monday after responding to a report of a foul odor coming from an impounded vehicle. The human remains were found inside a bag in the front trunk of the car, which had been at the impoundment lot for a couple of days."
"While the identity of the deceased is not yet known, ABC News confirmed the Tesla is registered in Hempstead, Texas to d4vd (real name David Anthony Burke). d4vd is best known for his viral hits "Romantic Homicide" and "Here with Me." Currently signed to Darkroom and Interscope Records, he released his debut album, Withered, this past April. The singer has posted to his Instagram Stories since police discovered the body, so it would appear that he is alive and well. He is still scheduled to play a show in Minneapolis tonight as part of his ongoing world tour."
