Death Cab for Cutie ended a 22-year partnership with Atlantic Records and signed to Anti-. The band announced a North American tour that includes Japanese Breakfast, Jay Som, and Nation of Language at select shows. Atlantic originally signed the band from Barsuk in 2004 following the strength of the band's first four albums, including 2003's Transatlanticism. Death Cab released six albums with Atlantic between 2005 and 2022, most recently Asphalt Meadows. The tour runs from May 29 through early August with stops across major U.S. and Canadian markets.
