Punk-rap duo Ho99o9 shared their new single "Incline," featuring Nova Twins, Pink Siifu, and Yung Skrrt, from the upcoming album Tomorrow We Escape. This new single follows their lead track "Upside Down." The album will also include contributions from Chelsea Wolfe, Greg Puciato, and MoRuf. The duo aims for a more personal tone in their songs, focusing on emotion rather than the politically charged content previously emphasized. They are currently on a tour in Australia and scheduled for an appearance at New York's Basilica Soundscape.
"Incline" is a biting hip hop song with a jagged rock edge, and it follows the nu metal-leaning lead single "Upside Down."
The duo says, "It was a healthy challenge to focus on emotion. In the past, a lot of our material was politically charged."
The goal is to find motivation for preservation, acknowledging that everybody has a struggle.
The album, Tomorrow We Escape, will feature collaborations with Chelsea Wolfe, Greg Puciato, and MoRuf.
