"Remember The Humans is due out May 8 on Arts & Crafts, and marks BSS' first new studio LP since 2017's Hug of Thunder. In the interim, they also released 2019 Let's Try the After EPs in two volumes, plus a compilation of B-sides and rarities called Old Dead Young in 2022."
Broken Social Scene, a Canadian supergroup, is releasing Remember the Humans on May 8 through Arts & Crafts Records, their first studio album since 2017's Hug of Thunder. The band shared 'Hey Amanda,' the second single from the project, following 'Not Around Anymore.' The song explores themes of being yourself and confronting people's questioning of one's authenticity. Between their last album and this release, the band issued two volumes of Let's Try the After EPs in 2019 and a compilation of B-sides and rarities called Old Dead Young in 2022. Broken Social Scene will tour North America later this year alongside Metric and Stars to support the new album.
