Loredana Crisan's journey with creativity began at age seven with piano lessons from her mother. She dedicated many years to classical music before exploring techno and music production during Romania's transition to Western influences. This exploration led her to the United States, where she worked as a sound engineer and producer. Eventually, she joined a startup to prototype audio interfaces, despite not being a visual designer. Her musical background continues to inform her work and approach to creativity at Figma.
