Briefly

Shana Cleveland, the frontwoman of indie rock group La Luz, discusses her passion for uncovering hidden gem albums. In anticipation of her performance at the Somewhere Music Festival and Conference in Wichita, Kansas, she lists 10 lesser-known albums across various genres including Japanese surf rock and Cambodian pop. Cleveland reflects on her musical journey and the excitement of sharing these treasures with others, stating that focusing on obscure records feels more interesting than highlighting well-known classics. Her recommendations aim to encourage music fans to explore beyond mainstream selections.
