Paisley Fields began their musical journey in Iowa, influenced by pop music and church choir. They started playing piano at 12 and felt a spiritual connection to music despite a challenging high school experience as a closeted individual. After moving to NYC in 2004, Fields supported themselves through various jobs while pursuing music. They formed a duo in Japan with Kazunari Abe, blending genres and creating a unique musical collaboration that included traditional Japanese and Western music.
