Down, the renowned NOLA sludge metal supergroup, has announced their signing with Nuclear Blast Records, which will include the release of their much-anticipated new album in 2026. This album will be their first since 2012 and will feature the current lineup: Philip H. Anselmo, Pepper Keenan, Kirk Windstein, Jimmy Bower, and Pat Bruders. In addition to new recordings, the partnership will also see the reissue of Down's back catalog. The band is currently finalizing the album and looks forward to exciting collaborations with the label.
