The San Jose Chamber Orchestra will be led by concertmaster Liana Bérubé, a versatile violinist with extensive performance experience spanning genres from pop to Broadway. Bérubé has collaborated with artists including Stevie Wonder and Death Cab for Cutie, and toured nationally with the Broadway musical Hamilton. Beyond her musical career, Bérubé is an accomplished thru-hiker who has completed the Camino de Santiago twice, experiences that inform her creative process. These diverse life experiences generate new thoughts that translate into musical compositions. The upcoming SJCO Strings performance represents a unique presentation of Bérubé's latest artistic visions.
