NYC teens rip out cashier's hair, slap security guard in supermarket brawl: 'They came to fight'
"This is a supermarket. You come here to shop and you leave. I'm not supposed to have a customer covering her baby's eyes. The security guard told them, 'I don't know what you are talking about.' One girl, without warning, went chest to chest with the security and hit him in the face."
"The head cashier told the teen, 'You can't do that.' That's all it took for the rest of the group to jump her. They started punching her and pulled out her hair. They broke her glasses. The video shows the group sending the employee to the floor as she desperately tries to defend herself."
A group of five teenagers—four girls and one boy—stormed into the Allerton Key Food supermarket in the Bronx on Wednesday evening around 8:30 p.m. and initiated a violent rampage. The incident began when the boy returned with reinforcements after being confronted earlier by a shopper. Upon entering, the group confronted a security guard, with one girl striking him in the face. When a 23-year-old head cashier attempted to intervene, the entire group attacked her, punching her repeatedly and pulling out her hair while breaking her glasses. The security guard tried to protect the employee but could not stop the assault. Customers fled the scene in fear, with parents shielding their children from the violence. The perpetrators remain at large.
