Ibis Baez, 29, died in a road rage incident on the Long Island Expressway when he was struck by Brian Noll, 64, who allegedly swerved to hit Baez. The confrontation began when Baez's motorcycle made contact with Noll's vehicle while exiting the highway. Noll has been charged with second-degree murder and pleaded not guilty. Baez's loved ones have expressed their grief and described him as a peaceful individual and passionate fisherman. A memorial is planned, and a GoFundMe has been established for his family.
Ibis was a great human being with a peaceful soul, not one violent part in his body, and never harmed anyone. For his life to be cut short doing what he loved is unexplainable.
