New Platform Serves As NYC's First Rent-Stabilized Alert Tool
Briefly

RentReboot is a new platform designed to assist renters in finding rent-stabilized apartments in New York City. It is New York's first real-time alert system for such listings, addressing the challenge of high rents. Renters can complete a questionnaire to receive tailored listings via email and text, helping to locate affordable housing options. The platform charges $12 per month for alerts and $20 for additional features. Since its launch, it has gained significant interest, with 20,000 signups within two weeks.
"The idea is to show that information and make it more public," said software developer Adam Sebti, 30, who co-founded RentReboot with Ilias Miraoui. "So everyone can have a chance."
For $12 a month, users receive real-time email alerts and up to three text messages daily with top listings. For $20 a month, they get unlimited texts and early access to new features.
