Jabrill Peppers, recently released by the Patriots, played a pivotal role in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 21-14 victory by forcing a fumble on Antonio Gibson and recovering the loose ball. Peppers recorded six tackles and one stuff, energizing teammates during a game that produced five takeaways for the Steelers. He celebrated exuberantly in the visitors' locker room less than a month after being cut by his former team. Peppers credited thorough preparation and team effort and had visualized a game-changing end-zone celebration the night before. The win at Gillette Stadium left him grinning as teammates urged him to shower and catch departing buses.
