""We sometimes reflect on things, and you wish you would have done things a little differently,""
""I come back here and I see this, I wish I would have done things a little differently.""
""Over the years, we've both mellowed,""
""We've shared laughs, swapped stories and reflected on the foundation we built together. I want to say, 'Thank you, Bill. Thank you for the fire. Thank you for the fight. Thank you for the foundation. And thank you for the many contributions you made to this franchise.'""
Bill Parcells was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Foxborough attended by hundreds on a sun-splashed day. The ceremony also included the induction of three-time Super Bowl champion Julian Edelman. Parcells coached the Patriots from 1993 to 1996 and restored credibility and championship pedigree to a franchise that had been among the NFL's worst. Robert Kraft officially purchased the team in 1994 and later clashed with Parcells after Parcells left to coach the New York Jets following the 1996 season. Kraft expressed gratitude for Parcells' fire, fight and foundational contributions, and Parcells credited longtime executive Bucko Kilroy and described the occasion as humbling.
