Connor Ingram To Be Placed on Waivers
"Last season Connor Ingram started the season off well with the new franchise in Utah, posting a .882 save percentage through his 22 games played while being on a tandem with Karel Vejmelka. Ingram would then play his last game on February 22, 2025. Without a lot of explanation, Ingram was then missing from action, with the Utah club calling up Jaxson Stauber to help Vejmelka take care of the net."
"A few weeks went by and on March 9, 2025 the NHLPA put out a statement which claimed that Ingram had entered their program. Ingram himself took to social media to clarify why he had been missing and why he would be entering the NHLPA program. It turns out that Connor's mother had passed away earlier in the 2024-2025 season from cancer and that he was entering due to his mental health which hadn't been the same since losing his mother."
"On August 20, 2025 the NHLPA put out a follow-up which stated Ingram had been cleared from their program, which means that he would be returning to action this upcoming season, while the newly named Mammoth would start training camp on September 18th. When the Mammoth posted their training camp roster the day before, Ingram was on it as expected after being cleared."
Connor Ingram began the season strong with the Utah Mammoth, posting a .882 save percentage through 22 games while sharing duties with Karel Vejmelka. Ingram last played on February 22, 2025, then went missing from action as the club called up Jaxson Stauber to support Vejmelka. Ingram entered the NHLPA program after his mother died of cancer earlier in the season and cited mental-health struggles following the loss. The NHLPA cleared Ingram on August 20, 2025, and he appeared on the Mammoth's training camp roster, but he did not report. The Mammoth intend to place Ingram on waivers and seek another team or AHL assignment.
