Jack Hughes wants his golden goal puck back from Hockey HOF
"I'm trying to get it. Like, that's bulls--- that the Hockey Hall of Fame has it, in my opinion. Why would they have that puck? I don't see why Megan Keller or I shouldn't have those pucks."
"These donated items represent defining moments on the world's biggest stage and carry powerful stories of national pride and hockey history at its highest level. The Olympics '26 display will help ensure that these unforgettable Olympic moments are preserved for our guests from around the world to experience."
"I honestly don't know where that puck went. I know who doesn't have it is me. I sure as hell don't have it."
Jack Hughes scored the overtime goal that won Team USA men's hockey gold at the Milan Cortina Olympics, beating Canada's Jordan Binnington at 1:41 of overtime. This marked America's first Olympic gold in men's hockey since 1980. The Hockey Hall of Fame is currently displaying both Hughes's puck and Megan Keller's puck from the women's team's gold medal victory in a new "Olympics '26" exhibit alongside other Team USA memorabilia. Hughes expressed frustration about not possessing his historic puck, questioning why the Hall of Fame has it. He discovered the puck's location during a TNT interview when asked about its whereabouts, initially unaware of where it had gone.
